These can be tricky sometimes needing an older device, or needing a 2.4ghz Wi-Fi for initial setup. I've taken a few brand new devices and opened them and set them up for the first time on my network. This means you will just have to add them to your Google home environment. Please note, I am not charging any premium for this service. I sell the sealed units for the same price.
